Dr Ansari has undergone nine years of extensive surgical training around the globe. He received his initial surgical training under the auspices of the National Health Services (NHS) in the United Kingdom and obtained Membership in the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2006. Due to his particularly keen interest in surgical research, Dr Ansari has been involved in multiple academic research projects and was awarded a Masters (MSc) in Advanced Surgical Practice from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. After receiving extensive training in Cosmetic Surgery in Australia, he was granted a fellowship from the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery. He served as a Clinical Tutor for Austin School of Medicine – Melbourne, Surgeon Instructor at GPCE – Sydney and was being appointed as an External Examiner for Guy’s King’s and St. Thomas’ (GKT) School of Medicine – London. Dr Ansari has also received multiple scholarships and prizes throughout his career.

Danielle Monemvasitis

Practice Manager

Danielle is our Practice Manager at My Cosmetic Clinic. She brings to her role 20 years of extensive management experience from varied backgrounds in hotel management and the hospitality industry, completing further study and graduating with a Diploma of Business Administration in 2018. She understands providing a high level of service, seeking to improve patient satisfaction levels and striving to deliver excellence to everyone who supports our practice are all part and parcel of the My Cosmetic Clinic experience. The thing that she enjoys most about her position is engaging daily with the amazing team of people who work at My Cosmetic Clinic as well as our delightful patients and is proud to be part of such a dedicated and cohesive team.

Meredith Salisbury

Registered Nurse

Meredith has been a Registered Nurse for many years, becoming a Cosmetic Nurse Injector over 15 years ago. During this time she has also owned her own business and had a baby. Resuming her career in the cosmetic industry on a more permanent basis over 3 years ago. “I have enjoyed meeting all of our clients at My Cosmetic Clinic Wollongong and Nowra. I work with my patients, listening to their concerns and offering advice, knowing that we all want to delay the inevitable aging process and enhance our natural beauty. I particularly enjoy creating beautiful lips with Lip Fillers and also minimising those unwanted cranky lines in and around the brow area. I hope to see you soon.”

Penny Adams

Registered Nurse

Penny completed her Bachelor of Nursing at The University of Technology Sydney in 2009. She has spent the last 6 years working in the operating theatres at one of Sydney’s private hospitals with her primary commitment to cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Her passion for cosmetic medicine has led her to pursue further training through the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science to enhance and develop her knowledge of cosmetic injectable treatments and anti-ageing dermal therapies. Penny’s friendly and professional approach offers a personalised service to produce aesthetically pleasing results with an emphasis on patient safety and satisfaction.

Lisa Copp

Registered Nurse

Lisa graduated from her Bachelor of Nursing in 2004 at The University of Sydney. She is a Clinical Nurse on the surgical ward at Gosford Private Hospital. She has extensive experience nursing postoperative patients, including those who have had cosmetic and plastic surgery. Lisa has also completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She teaches and facilitates student nurses at TAFE, sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience. Lisa’s passion for all things beauty is what has led her to work at My Cosmetic Clinic, pursuing a career that can combine her nursing and artistic skills. She has undergone thorough training in Schedule 4 Cosmetic Injectables through Galderma and is committed to ongoing education to stay current in this ever-growing industry. She is friendly, professional and works cooperatively with clients to provide individualised treatment.

Sandy Clarke

Sandy has been a Registered Nurse for more than 28 years. Following further training at The Academy of Cosmetic Medicine and Science in Chatswood, Sandy has been a Cosmetic Practitioner for the past 3 years. Sandy really loves that a wide range of people, both men and women, can now benefit from affordable improvements to their image and self-confidence through the use of cosmetic injectables. “It’s no longer just for the rich and famous! Kat completed her completed her Bachelor of Nursing degree at the University of Technology, Sydney in 2004 and has over 13 years experience. Kat has spent the last 10 years working in various senior clinical leadership roles. Kat’s love for the aesthetic industry and passion for improving the appearance of her clients through Cosmetic medical intervention led her to pursue a career and formal training in Cosmetic nursing. Kat is a formally qualified Cosmetic nurse with a graduate diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and a graduate certificate in intense pulsed light and laser hair reduction, obtained through the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science. Kat is very detailed in her approach and her experience ensures she understands the technical as well as the aesthetic approach to injectables.

Hannah Ajami

For Hannah Ajami a passion for all things Beauty, Wellbeing, Science and Artistry has culminated in a rewarding career centred around Cosmetic Nursing, with ongoing training and education of utmost priority. Having completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Sydney in 2004, she has gone on to gain a Masters of Nursing also at the University of Sydney, alongside a nationally recognised qualification in Makeup Artistry & Laser safety. This wide and varied education, has meant employment in many organisations and arenas which translate to better adapting to client needs and wishes.

Joanna Crisp

Registered Nurse

Joanna has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years and first started working in cosmetic nursing 15 years ago. She has been with My Cosmetic Clinic in Newcastle since 2019 and also works in critical care. Joanna brings with her a vast array of nursing experience and skill, along with undergraduate and Masters qualifications in marketing and management which all help her to provide exceptional service. Joanna thoroughly enjoys all aspects of helping her clients address their facial concerns (particularly ageing changes) and she is committed to achieving beautiful and natural results for her clients. She is also very passionate about the importance of cosmeceutical grade skin care, in conjunction with in-clinic treatments, in order to help achieve optimal results.

Kristen Lee Cochrane

Kristen completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at the University of Newcastle after more than 10 years in the beauty industry, where she specialized in skin, laser, and light therapies. Her love of aesthetics’ has always been her passion and drive, which led her to further her career in cosmetic injectables. She attended the Academy of Cosmetic Medicine and Science in Sydney, where she completed her post graduate diploma in cosmetic injectables. Kristen has also completed a post graduate course in nurse immunization and is currently working in a senior role in primary health care where she can enjoy her passion for nursing by helping people.

During that time she developed an interest in Plastic Cosmetic Reconstructive Surgery and Facio-Maxillary Surgery. Karen is skilled in Advanced Injecting techniques. Karen’s approach is to listen to her patient’s concerns, careful assessment, discuss treatment options, develop a treatment plan, as well as give skin care advice to help maintain an ageing skin and slow down the ageing process of a younger skin. Her kind and caring nature allows her patients feel to comfortable with advice and treatments.

Ruth Hamilton

Registered Nurse

Ruth is an experienced theatre nurse with 25 years of specialized cosmetic and general surgery nursing. She is genuinely passionate in providing patient centered care within all areas relating to pre, peri and post-operative nursing. Cosmetic surgery has predominately been her focus for many years, and she has an ardent interest, and sizable knowledge of all areas within this industry. Ruth’s extensive nursing background includes Day Hospital Director of Nursing facility management, Ministry of Health facility commissioning, ACHS accreditation, infection prevention and control consultancy and coordinating all medical and nursing personnel for surgical lists. We know Ruth to have a friendly, kind, and professional approach in all that she does, and ensures optimum care for our clients from start to finish.

Linda Vas

Registered Nurse

With over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse in both private and public surgeries, Linda has followed her passion for cosmetic surgery over the past 15 years working primarily in day surgery within the cosmetic surgery sector. She has extensive knowledge as a senior nurse in pre, peri, and post-op surgical nursing. Linda has assisted in the accreditation with the ACMS of numerous facilities. Over 10 years of experience working with the Australasian College of cosmetic surgeons, running training workshops for the registrar. Linda displays a professional, caring approach with the best possible outcomes.

Jaeyoung Cha

Jaeyoung graduated Bachelor of nursing at UTS in 2013 and has been working as a RN in a variety of settings: mostly in ICU, and cosmetic clinics. She is a genuine and caring nurse and has a passion in helping people achieve the best version of themselves, improving their self confidence and self esteem. Jae prides herself on her attention to detail and focus on symmetry. She continuously develops her skills and knowledge in cosmetic nursing and is currently studying for a graduate certificate in Cosmetic Nursing at Australian College of Nursing. She aims for a natural looking enhancements and provides you a combination of treatments for longer-lasting and maintainable results.

Kate Fraser

Registered Nurse

Kate has maintained a rewarding career as a Registered Nurse in the NSW public and private sectors with specialties in Oncology, Perioperative Nursing and Anaesthetics. Motivated by positive client outcomes achieved with non-surgical cosmetic treatments, Kate completed formal training through ACMAS and Galderma and made the exciting career transition into Cosmetic Nursing. Kate has a keen eye for aesthetic symmetry and an interest in the restoration of natural structures and enhancement of beauty to ensure clients look and feel fresh and youthful. Kate looks forward to working closely with her clients to create a personalised treatment plan with a calm professional confidence to provide possibilities for transformation and rejuvenation.

Jessie has a passion for beauty and loves working closely with Dr. Ansari and the nurses at My Cosmetic Clinic to deliver helpful, informative and fun beauty information to My Cosmetic Clinics patients.
